Entry Level Sales Representative
We are developing our next generation sales team to impact the world of first aid & immediate care. As a stable company with 35 years of profitability, HART Health/NorMed is a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial first aid products. We sell our high quality products through several unique channels and provide our customers world-class service which has earned us our market share and our premium reputation. We are currently expanding from a strong regional organization to a national leader and we want your help!
HART Health/NorMed is seeking a bright, energetic, competitive, tenacious individual for entry into our Sales team. Come with minimum sales experience or none at all and be trained through our robust on boarding techniques, designed to make you successful and fully equipped with selling skills to build a progressive and financially rewarding career.
Through our comprehensive training program, you will develop proficiency and expertise in both Inside Sales (lead management, sales made inside the office) and Outside Sales (approaching potential clients over the phone and through in person appointments.) From there, opportunities exist to explore growth in other areas of our organization. Expect to be well compensated with a base salary as well as commission and bonuses for your production. In addition, your compensation package is made richer with full medical/dental benefits along with company-sponsored profit sharing and pre-tax savings through a 401(k) with a percentage of matched funds invested.

Route Sales and Service Representative
HART Health (www.HARTHealth.com) has been a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial first aid kids and medical supplies since 1976. Our nation-wide customers experience exceptional quality through our world-class service offered at a great value. To expand our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Route Sales and Service Representative for the Portland Metro area.
You may be our ideal candidate if you can work independently and efficiently, using our proprietary technology to upsell and service First Aid supplies to our current clients. Our Route Sales and Service Rep will have the ability and desire to prospect new customer leads to build their route in addition working in our partnership with our Business Development Reps who are focused on building the territory. As the primary contact between our company and our customers, you will be a naturally capable, self-starter, with excellent organizational skills and a friendly outgoing demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:- Be the primary sales contact point to re-stock and maintain wall mount first aid stations, tracking all sales activity on a weekly basis..
- Build excellent customer relations through professionalism, courtesy, and positive attitude. Maintain excellent customer relations through consistent trustworthy service.
- Attain or exceed agreed upon daily sales goals for stops-per-day and dollar sales.
- Up-sell and cross-sell additional First Aid cabinets and items.
- Make recommendations to customers for stocking of new items.
- Probe for referrals and additional needs.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date profiles of each account in hand-held unit and on route cards.
- Participate in sales blitzes to find new business.
- Learn, understand, and be able to communicate Federal and State first aid requirements.
- Advise management of customer interests, needs, and/or issues.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and transfer orders at end of day.
- Re-stock service van as necessary and maintain agreed upon inventory levels.
If you like to be on the move and appreciate a physical aspect to your work, you are a great fit for this role. Being successful means working efficiently to maximize productivity in order to meet or exceed daily goals revolving around sales and deliveries.
Requirements:- Be self directed, organized, and able to plan and execute daily responsibilities without supervision
- Previous experience working in a sales related or customer service role is preferred, route sales experience is also desirable but not required
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have an excellent driving record
- Ability to meet physical requirements of this position
- Must have a secure physical location in residence to stock a limited amount of overstock inventory
- Must be motivated to maximize sales opportunity in the designated territory
- Must attain agreed upon goals
- Salary of $35,000/year plus bonus averaging low to mid $40,000's.
- Company vehicle including fuel and maintenance
